Privacy Policy
Last updated: June 2026
Ameveo Limited ("we", "us", "our") takes your privacy seriously. This policy explains what personal information we collect when you visit ameveo.com, why we collect it, how we use it, and the rights you have over it under the UK General Data Protection Regulation (UK GDPR).
Who we are
Ameveo Limited is a company registered in England and Wales. Our registered contact for data-protection enquiries is Darren Grimshaw, reachable at darren@ameveo.com.
Information we collect
We only collect what we need to run the site and respond to enquiries. That falls into three categories:
- Contact-form submissions. When you submit the form on our contact page, we collect the name, email address, subject, and message you provide. These are sent to our team by email and stored in our mail provider's normal log retention.
- Analytics data. We use Google Analytics (GA4) to understand how visitors navigate the site. This includes anonymised pageviews, referrer, device type, and approximate location based on IP. We do not collect personally identifiable information through analytics.
- reCAPTCHA verification. Our contact form is protected by Google reCAPTCHA v3, which evaluates browser signals to detect automated submissions. Google may collect IP address and interaction data for this purpose. See Google's privacy policy.
How we use it
We use the information we collect to:
- Respond to enquiries you submit through the contact form.
- Improve the site by understanding which pages visitors find useful.
- Protect the site from spam and abuse.
We do not sell, rent, or share your personal data with third parties for marketing purposes. We do not run advertising on this site.
Cookies
We use a small number of cookies, all served either by Google Analytics or Google reCAPTCHA. We do not use cookies for advertising or tracking across sites. Most browsers let you block or delete cookies; doing so will not break the site, although the contact form may stop accepting submissions if reCAPTCHA is blocked.
How long we keep your data
- Contact-form enquiries: retained in our email for as long as needed to respond and follow up — typically 2 years, after which we delete the original message.
- Analytics data: aggregated, retained by Google for up to 14 months according to GA4's default retention settings.
- Server access logs: retained by our hosting provider (Microsoft Azure) for up to 90 days for diagnostic and security purposes.
Your rights
Under UK GDPR you have the right to:
- Access the personal data we hold about you.
- Ask us to correct inaccurate data.
- Ask us to delete your data ("right to be forgotten").
- Object to processing or restrict how we use your data.
- Lodge a complaint with the UK Information Commissioner's Office (ICO).
To exercise any of these rights, email darren@ameveo.com with the subject line "Data request" and we will respond within 30 days.
International transfers
The site is hosted on Microsoft Azure in the UK South region, so primary data storage stays within the UK. Some sub-processors we use — Google Analytics and Google reCAPTCHA — may transfer data to servers outside the UK and EEA under their own standard contractual clauses.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time as our practices change or as the law evolves. The "Last updated" date at the top tells you when the most recent change was made. Material changes will be highlighted at the top of this page for at least 30 days.
